John,
While we are still grieving the loss of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the Republicans are already fast-tracking the confirmation hearings for her replacement. They may have chosen to nominate another woman, Amy Coney Barrett, but her positions are the polar opposite of what RBG spent her life fighting for and could hurt women and families. Here are just a few examples:
She signed onto an anti-choice, anti-marriage equality letter in 2015.
She criticized the Supreme Court's decisions upholding key sections of Obamacare.
She is opposed to Roe v. Wade and could be the deciding vote to overturn it.
If she is confirmed, the court would be transformed into the most conservative court since the 1930s.
We simply can't go back to a time when women had even less rights than we do now. It will be up to state legislators, like our Featured Candidates, to protect access to reproductive healthcare and fight for our rights.
Will you give $25, $50, or more to the Lillian's List PAC now to help elect pro-choice women in NC?
Our 24 Featured Candidates are the key to flipping the NC House and Senate. They will stand together to protect reproductive freedom and fight for gender equity. 100% of your gift to our PAC will go to our Featured Candidates to give them the resources they need to win in November.
Thank you for being a part of the Lillian's List sisterhood. Together, let's elect pro-choice, progressive women up and down the ballot this November.
Sincerely,
Team Lillian
