I can’t remember a time when we entered an election season in the midst of this much uncertainty. As we are grappling with a historic pandemic, an economy turned upside down, and continued racial injustices, the White House has only worked to add fuel to the fire. 

September 30 marks the end of this fundraising quarter and one of the last chances to donate to our campaign before in-person voting begins in Louisville on October 13. While Donald Trump and his Republican enablers are working to further destabilize our democracy for their own political and economic gain, I have been representing Louisville’s values and priorities in Congress. As the Chair of the Budget Committee, I know what is needed to help American working families get ahead, how we can address the climate crisis, and steps we must take to rebuild our economy and so much more. 

We must be doing far more to get the coronavirus under control, including a national plan for testing. With a Democratic Congress and a new President we can make real make a real difference in the lives of American families.
