GET INVOLVED

It all comes down to the next month, so please help us reach as many voters as
possible.  Here’s how: volunteer a few hours to make phone calls, knock on
doors or write personal postcards.  Engage on social media with “likes” and
“shares.”  Leverage the “power of five” — talk or email with just five of your
friends and get them to do the same.  Remember, 2018 was so close —just 16
votes per precinct —so every vote really does matter.

VOTING UPDATES

Absentee Ballots.  Counties began mailing out absentee ballots to those who
requested one last week.  So, if you requested an absentee ballot application,
watch the mail for your ballot and be sure to complete it and return it ASAP.
You can mail the ballot or take it to one of your county’s drop box locations.
You can also track the status of your absentee ballot at the link below.

Early Voting.  Early Voting in Person begins Monday, October 12th.  Locations
and hours can be found on your county’s elections website.

Election Day Precincts.  There have been recent changes in many polling
locations throughout Cobb, Fulton, and DeKalb Counties.  If you plan to vote on
Election Day, be sure to double check the location of your precinct.

IN THE COMMUNITY

As we close in on Election Day, I’m spending every free moment I have out in
the community talking with and listening to voters (socially distanced of
course!).  Already Team Handel has knocked on nearly 200,000 doors, made over
1.6 million phone calls, and sent out almost 50,000 postcards.  We will not let
up until the polls close on Election Day.

The Dunwoody’s Homeowners Association hosted its traditional Candidate Forum —
via Zoom this year.  I had the chance to answer questions submitted by Dunwoody
residents.  The people of Dunwoody know that I show up for them — whether it’s
a forum, the Veterans Day program, or the annual Light Up Dunwoody.  Sadly, my
opponent Lucy McBath didn’t think enough of the Dunwoody residents to
prioritize the forum.  But, this is a pattern with my opponent.  She doesn’t
show up much of anywhere.

A huge crowd came out early on a Saturday morning for the Women for Trump MAGA
Meet-Up.  Erin Perrine, the Communications Director for President Trump’s
campaign, and Madgie Nicolas, national spokesperson for Black Voices for Trump,
fired up the crowd.

Before I headed out to knock doors, I stopped by the Corner Rally in North
Fulton.  Lisa Cauley and Ellen Diehl are doing a great job of organizing these
MAGA Rallies.  The enthusiasm, horn honks, and thumbs up for President Trump
and for me get everyone revved up and energized . . . the excitement is amazing
and encouraging!
