John, I'm excited to share the latest from CRC with you:

  • Why was the Lewis and Clark Expedition so wildly successful?
Even before America's official founding, our civil society has aided the government's undertakings. The Lewis and Clark Expedition was one such--wildly successful--joint undertaking. Properly constrained, public-private collaboration is a tradition worth celebrating. CRC's Robert Stilson explores this remarkable example here.
  • How far has our warning about the Left's funding of election offices spread?
The short answer is, We don't know--because it exceeds our ability to track. As I write, we're at more than 10,000 Google searches and counting. Yet conservative-leaning donors have not followed suit, allowing left-wing money to tilt the playing field. Read CRC President Scott Walter's comments in the original AP news story here.
  • Which U.S. government department has taught critical race theory since the 1970s?
In 1971, the Department of Defense required every employee to attend race relation seminars, mostly taught by the Defense Race Relations Institute. Amazingly, the Institute taught black separatist ideas to service members. CRC's Joseph (Jake) Klein excavates the history of institutionalized racism in the U.S. government here.
  • How much will Arabella Advisors spend trying to tilt the 2020 elections?
Arabella's "dark money" machine funneled over $1 billion into the 2018 election cycle and will undoubtedly spend more in the 2020 elections. Nonprofits--not parties--dominate our politics, with Arabella dwarfing the fundraising of the Republican National Committee and the Democratic National Committee combined. CRC's Hayden Ludwig explains briefly here and in a fully updated special report here.
