When the results come in, we all want to know we gave it all we had. Four more years of Donald Trump would be disastrous. For our people. For our planet. For our democracy.
Four years ago around this time, I was in Wisconsin, and what I saw was a lot of Trump signs. I was up there recently, and I saw a lot more.
Trump has figured out how to play to people’s fears, uncertainty, and resentment at a level that now threatens the future of humanity.
We have a clear theory on how to beat him, one that has been validated by leading experts on what works in elections.
And yet, we have a funding gap.
We need your help to hire enough canvassers to have the number of conversations–350,000–needed to win in battleground states.
I know we–you!–have already given a lot. And I think we are all gonna have to give more to get to the other end of this disastrous situation. We at People’s Action are ready to dig deeper. Put in the hours. The shifts. And more tough conversations.
So when the results come in–in the presidential race and in the Senate–we can all know we did all we could.
We ask that if you can, that you please help us fund this program, and send Donald Trump as well as Mitch McConnell's Senate packing, once and for all.
