This morning, I took some time to reflect on our campaign and how far we’ve come. What started as a small operation grew into a powerful movement of grassroots supporters in NY-01 and beyond, fueled by our shared vision for our country.

With your help, we’ve built a team of some of the top political staffers around, begun a competitive paid-communications strategy, and raised an incredible amount of money for a first-time candidate -- all without any help from corporations and special interest donors. Top election forecasters at Cook Political and Daily Kos have upgraded our chances of winning, and we’re statistically tied with my opponent, Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin, in the latest polls. And now, former President Obama, Vice President Biden, and THOUSANDS of supporters like you have thrown their support behind our campaign.

We have come a long way, and I know we’ve still got hard work ahead of us. But with a team like this one, I know we can mobilize the voters we need to win in the final five weeks of our race.

So today, I just wanted to thank you for being part of our efforts.
