Mayor Craig is Ill-Prepared to Combat the Opioid Crisis I appreciate Governor Chris Sununu taking the lead on finding solutions to the problems facing Manchester to make up for Mayor Joyce Craig's leadership deficit. I have met with our governor on the many issues facing our city and understand his concerns, because they are my concerns as well. I know how problematic a lack of a plan or bipartisan cooperation can be when our city officials are unwilling to work with our leaders in Concord. While in leadership as a State Representative, I worked across the aisle for the betterment of my constituents. I would urge our mayor to do the same. Meeting with our Future Republican Leaders I had a great night this past Tuesday speaking with a full room of Saint Anselm College Republicans. Mayor Craig Scrambles, Deflects, and Plagiarizes It’s unfortunate that it takes an election being only days away for Mayor Craig to acknowledge that the city has fallen into chaos under her leadership. For months Manchester’s Aldermen, like Tim Baines, Joseph Kelly Levasseur, Keith Hirschman, and other city officials, have been all but begging Mayor Craig to do something. They have been fighting for solutions and offering ideas that unfortunately, the Mayor in a desperate attempt to downplay our city’s problems, has ignored and deflected. I appreciated hearing voters’ concerns for our city, and I enjoyed listening to different ideas on how to fix the problems. Open discussions like these are what will help us move our city forward.
