Friend --

One reason I ran for president was because I saw firsthand how the lack of representation in Washington impacts our ability to get things done, especially on big issues like racial injustice in our police system, expanding healthcare access, immigration reform, and so much more.

It’s also why I endorsed Candace Valenzuela’s campaign in TX-24. Not only is she running to become the first Black and Latina woman elected to Congress, she is running a true grassroots campaign to advance the needs of working families in her community.

TX-24 also happens to be a longtime Republican stronghold, and Trump’s PACs have zero intention of letting this seat go. They even allocated $3.2 million in negative attack ads against Candace for good measure.

We need to put our grassroots money where our mouth is if we’re going to win this race. Will you join me in supporting Candace by chipping in $3 today? >> [link removed]

This is a difficult time made worse by our President.

He regularly lies about the COVID-19 pandemic, uses divisive and hateful language, and continues to vilify immigrants and asylum seekers. Not to mention his repeated attacks on health care for working families.

We can end this national nightmare and build a future we can be proud of, but only if each of us steps up in key races like Candace’s in TX-24.

So, please -- if you can -- chip in a donation of $3 to Candace’s campaign today >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Julián Castro
