With the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the importance of the Supreme Court is once again front and center.
We know we can count on Senator Roy Blunt and Senator Josh Hawley to support federal judges and Supreme Court Justices who follow the Constitution and will not make law from the bench. Liberal Democrats are already attacking the potential nominees and gassing up the engines of their smear machine as they prepare for a repeat performance of the Justice Kavanaugh confirmation.
The Senate will follow tradition when it comes to this Supreme Court vacancy. Senator Blunt said earlier this week that when the Senate majority and president are in political agreement, the vacancy is filled. When they are not in political agreement, like in 2016, the vacancy is not filled.
