John, Rush Limbaugh attacked us—and we need to fight back.
Rush took to the airwaves to smear us and discredit a story confirmed by multiple outlets, including Fox News, that Donald Trump disparaged our veterans and was too concerned about his perm disintegrating in the rain to honor America's fallen World War I heroes.
The good news is your efforts are working. We're making Trump's enablers mad, because the truth hurts and they know we're effective at flipping voters.
The bad news is that Rush has over 15 million weekly listeners who will believe him and not ever hear the truth about Trump’s contempt for our military—so we must continue to fight against his far-right propaganda machine. We’re the only movement that can reach these voters and end this lawless presidency.
We’ve been consistently engaging with voters in battleground states, including North Carolina, to make sure everyone casting a ballot in this election knows of Trump’s disgusting comments towards America’s service members.
This, apparently, struck a nerve for Rush.
It’s more important to Rush that he defend our miserable, narcissistic, ignoramus president, than to defend our men and women in uniform.
John, we’re up against the most critical fundraising deadline of the election—our third quarter ends next week. The resources we’re able to raise right now through midnight on Wednesday will inform our strategy and reach through Election Day.
