As seen with a new vacancy on the Supreme Court, control of the Senate is even more important than before.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and President Trump are trying to rush the Supreme Court nomination process so they can add another right-wing justice to the bench who will side with their agenda. Some Republicans, like Kelly Loeffler, voiced their support for an ultra-conservative justice to be rushed through mere hours after Justice Ginsberg's death.

If Trump and McConnell succeed, it could have devastating ramifications for our country for years to come:

The Supreme Court has the power to decide if we advance environmental progress or roll back critical protections.
The Supreme Court has the power to decide if we protect health care for 20 million Americans through the Affordable Care Act or take it away.
The Supreme Court has the power to decide if we defend women's reproductive freedom or destroy it.

Rev. Raphael Warnock's Senate race in Georgia -- against Loeffler -- could determine control of the Senate, and therefore, it could determine who would fill future Supreme Court vacancies. If you can, split a contribution between Rev. Warnock's campaign and the Southwest Leadership Fund today.

Rev. Warnock is the leader we need deciding who will be deciding on the future of the Supreme Court:

Rev. Warnock believes health care is a right and is committed to protecting it and making it more affordable.
Rev. Warnock believes climate change is real and has led the fight for climate change in his community.
Rev. Warnock believes a woman's health care choices should remain between her and her doctor, and he'll be a champion for reproductive freedom.

Rev. Warnock would be the first Democratic senator to represent Georgia in two decades and the first Black senator to ever represent the state.

Raphael is not accepting any corporate PAC money. That means he's depending on grassroots support to win this competitive Senate race. Please -- if you can, split a contribution between Rev. Warnock's campaign and the SLF to help flip the Senate.

Cheers,

Tom
