As y'all know, the race between Julie and Roger Williams is tied.
In a close election like this one, a good field program with dedicated volunteers can push a race in one direction a handful of percentage points -- which they call the “field margin” -- by turning out additional voters.
And that's why Julie has always believed in investing so heavily in voter registration and why we've run such a robust field program.
Now it's time to capitalize.
There are at least 25 contactless campaign literature drops [[link removed]] happening this weekend across the district. These are socially-distanced, fully masked, and responsibly held events where you just stop by a staging location, grab a packet and a turf, and go. They're the best substitute we have for knocking doors right now — and they're a whole lot of fun, too.
