With the tremendous energy fueling this campaign and Zeldin’s willingness to ignore the concerns of families on Long Island, NY-01 is one of the most highly targeted races in the country. That means we’re running in a district that national groups are paying very close attention to.

That’s why Lee Zeldin just launched his first negative ad against us, and why the Congressional Leadership Fund, a far-right super PAC, is trying to spread lies about me.

We know that after our September FEC report is made available to the public, Zeldin’s allies at the National Republican Congressional Committee, the NRA (which has recently given me an “F” rating and Zeldin an “A-”; to be honest, couldn’t be more proud to NOT have their support!), and the American Action Network will hit back to try to curtail our momentum.

With only 40 days until our election, we need to ensure we have the resources to counter those attacks.
