Parwana Ayub Green Team Keynote Speaker
Parwana Ayub is the Environmental Equity Policy Fellow at The Greenlining Institute. Having grown up in underserved communities in her native Afghanistan as well as the Bay Area, Parwana is familiar with the race and class dimensions inherent in addressing environmental issues. After graduating with a B.A. in Environmental Policy from Colby College, Parwana received a Watson Fellowship that allowed her to travel the world studying midwifery care in marginalized communities.
Diedre Tanenberg Green Team Keynote Speaker
Diedre Tanenberg is a longtime recycling and waste reduction advocate with a passion for enhancing public education & outreach materials for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing community in all things related to sustainability. Currently, she is a Public Affairs Assistant Coordinator for the San Francisco Department of the Environment where she supports the Policy and Public Affairs Officer. Diedre will share key steps organizations can take to increase their awareness on equity, access and inclusion.
Action-oriented breakout sessions following the presentations will focus on specific ways that your organization can better achieve equity, diversity, and inclusion goals.
