At this point, we're no strangers. We've sent a lot of emails, with a lot of asks over the past few months.

But now that we're officially less than 50 days away from the election, we wanted to touch base and remind you all why we do the work we do -- and why it's so important.

The Progressive List

The progressive movement in this country has been disjointed and disorganized for too long -- meaning less money raised and fewer elections won.

That's why -- at its core -- our mission is to elect progressive candidates at the local, state, and federal levels. →

When you dig deeper, however, The Progressive List is much more than that. Our action plan includes:

1. Raising money directly for endorsed campaigns. And doing it early.

By injecting cash into progressive campaigns from the beginning, campaigns can invest and build strategies to win. Oftentimes, endorsements and funds come in too late to "save" long-shot progressive candidacies, instead of propelling our candidates to become early frontrunners.

2. Growing an institution to help progressive candidates build professional campaigns from the ground up.

That means helping candidates hire talented staff and consultants early, make connections to allied organizations, and organize a successful call-time operation.

3. Build a National Progressive Donor Table to run independent expenditures.

The Progressive List will partner with other progressive organizations to help streamline endorsements and pool resources into running meaningful ad campaigns to help put our candidates over the top.

How we'll win

We know the political establishment well enough to know that they won't offer us a seat at the table -- so we're going to build our own.

Grassroots support is the backbone of the progressive movement in America. Without a strong grassroots network of supporters calling their representatives, signing petitions, and chipping in $5 or $10 dollars at a time, many progressive campaigns wouldn't even make it off the ground.

If we want the progressive movement to succeed, we need to build a broad, intersectional coalition with real political power. And for that, we need you.
