Good evening,
National Clean Energy Week is off to a great start! We hope you had a chance to enjoy at least one of the great events we hosted today as part of our Policy Makers Symposium.
If not, there is still time to register and see all of the remaining events and view archived events soon. You can also get live updates by following us @NCEWConf on Twitter. Below are some noteworthy highlights from the first day:
ON FIRST DAY OF NATIONAL CLEAN ENERGY WEEK, U.S. REPS. CURTIS AND LOWENTHAL INTRODUCE RESOLUTION CELEBRATING SECTOR’S ROLE IN THE AMERICAN ECONOMY
As National Clean Energy Week 2020 officially kicked off today in communities across the country, U.S. Reps. John Curtis (R-UT) and Alan Lowenthal (D-CA) have introduced a bipartisan House resolution formally recognizing the event, and clean energy’s role in growing the American economy. The measure officially proclaims Monday, Sept. 21 through Friday, Sept. 25, 2020 as “National Clean Energy Week” and encourages individuals and organizations to support commonsense solutions that address the economic, environmental, and energy needs of the United States in the 21st century. A total of 71 Members of Congress joined as original co-sponsors of the resolution. Read more.
