We just got word, friend.

My opponent is up on TV with a new attack ad against me.

Not only is it full of half-truths, it takes a page straight from Trump’s playbook by playing into typical Fox News-style hysterics and fear-mongering.

I'm no stranger to false smears, but because my opponent is being propped up by over $6 million, we run the risk of attacks like these being all voters hear over the next 6 weeks.

We need to counter this attack ad immediately before voters cast ballots. That’s why today I’m letting you in on a little secret:

We’re launching a new TV advertisement of our own that cuts right through Van Duyne’s lies. But we need you to rush $3 to close our $12,395 gap to get this ad up on the air. Will you chip in today? >> [link removed]

I’m a firm believer that the best way to counter Trump-style attacks is by delivering our own positive message directly to voters.

This tossup race could come down to just a few hundred votes, so it’s critical that we reach as many undecided voters as possible with these ads.

Please, friend: Will you chip in $3 before it’s too late to push back on their lies? >> [link removed]

Thanks in advance for anything you can do.
