I’m reaching out to you personally because we’ve recently made a change here at CGF, and I want to make sure you’re aware of it and what it means going forward.

You may have noticed that you’ve been receiving emails from us under the name of California Gun Rights Foundation. 

That’s not an accident. CGF recently changed its name from “The  Calguns Foundation” to “California Gun Rights Foundation” to more clearly reflect our mission: gun rights for Californians. 

What does that mean for you, exactly? The short answer is, very little. 

We have moved our Web site to a new domain, www.cagunrights.org (and that’s also where we’ll be sending emails from going forward). And our social media and branding has evolved to reflect our new name.

But our mission remains the same. Our lawsuits and their purpose remain the same. And our commitment to defending California gun owners, restoring the Second Amendment, and fighting for civil rights remains the same. 

You are incredibly important to me and all of us here at CGF. We look forward to your continued support of our legal action programs to restore the Second Amendment here in California.
