Team:

I know a lot has been going on, but we must keep our eye on the ball. First things first: We're coming up on our most important FEC end-of-quarter deadline at the end of this month — our last before early voting in Texas begins and Election Day on November 3rd.

This is our last chance to show the power of our campaign before the majority of ballots are cast. Everyone from the press to Washington Republicans will dig into our FEC report, looking to see if we have the resources to pull this off.

While I wish that the strength of campaigns wasn't measured by how much we can raise, it's the reality of this post-Citizens United world. So for our last fundraising deadline of the cycle, we’ve decided to set our biggest goal yet: $750,000.

Right now we are 79% of the way there, but we need your help to keep up the pace. Can you chip in $5, $15, or more to help us reach our goal and finally flip this seat blue? We don't take a dime of PAC money so donations from emails like this one really matter.

CHIP IN $

We've made so much progress since we launched this campaign.

Two recent polls show that this race is within the margin of error. People are taking notice — the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee added TX-25 to their list of targeted races in Texas! And we just launched a major TV ad buy we can't wait to tell you more about soon.

Unfortunately, Roger Williams has an arsenal of corporate PAC money and personal wealth to count on. He's going to try and drown us out with an onslaught of misleading television ads, but we can fight back by doubling down on our grassroots strategy to reach as many undecided voters as possible in our district.

Can I count on you to rush a contribution right now? We need to report the strongest numbers possible to the FEC — your donation helps us do that.

Thank you so much for believing in me and this movement we have built. We wouldn't be where we are today without you.
