Team –

Tonight, we all were rocked by the loss of equal rights champion, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She was a hero in so many ways and now we here at Go for Broke for Veterans are resolved to keep fighting for the causes she spent her life championing.

In the 1970s, RBG represented a woman in the Air Force who became pregnant in a time when the Air Force terminated women who became pregnant unless they agreed to terminate the pregnancy – taking away their right to choose.

Later she would lead the fight to make government-funded military institutes, like the Virginia Military Institute, open to female candidates.

In cases like those and so many others, RBG fought for the rights of every person – making the military and the lives of everyday Americans better in the process.

Let’s keep up the fight she started.

We here at Go for Broke for Veterans are dedicated to fighting for our nation’s heroes. Founded by Democratic members of the House’s Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, the goal of Go for Broke for Vets is to fight back against Trump and his allies attempts to undercut the work the committee does to help our vets. Your support is critical to ensuring that we can elect more members of Congress to support our veterans.

Contribute here to support the critical work GB4V is doing to empower veterans.
