But regrettably, that’s exactly what powerful forces within our government are doing now: taking advantage of a public distracted by a pandemic to chip away at reproductive rights with impunity.
We’ve seen it happen all across the country. Restrictive laws meant to shame patients seeking abortion care, or deny them care entirely, have been passed in the last few months. When care is accessible, it’s often accompanied by unnecessary, costly procedures.
This isn’t the country we want to live in.
We’re working to change that. We’re advocating for legislation that will protect reproductive rights.
