Dear John,
Here at Giffords Law Center, our mission is to end our country’s gun violence epidemic. That fight takes a lot of different forms, one of which is educating elected officials, activists, and the country at large.
As we say often, if we don’t understand the gun violence crisis, we can’t solve it. To that end, we just launched a new website that will arm the public with the facts about shootings in America and how to stop them.
We're thrilled to introduce our new and improved gun law library, which allows users to easily filter by state and by policy. Our revamped statistics page features an array of striking facts and figures on the state and national levels. Our reports, factsheets, and amicus briefs are all crisply displayed and easily accessible, and we’ve built out a new section focused on our work fighting the gun lobby in the courts.
