I want to take this opportunity to wish our Jewish brothers and sisters Shana Tova on the beginning of the Jewish New Year.

This past year has presented us with many difficulties, but New Yorkers and all Americans have risen to the challenge.  We have cared for each other and prayed for each other during our time of need.

During the 10-day period of the Jewish High Holy Days, a time of prayer, reflection, and repentance, we are reminded of the importance of faith and family.

Erin and I pray that God blesses the Jewish people, and all the nations and people of the world. May you and your family be written and sealed in the book of life.

Sincerely,
Nick Langworthy
