John, this is not a joke. This is dangerous.
Trump is hell-bent on blowing up our Constitution and consolidating power.
“We're going to win four more years in the White House...And then after that, we'll negotiate, right?... Based on the way we were treated, we’re probably entitled to another four [years] after that.”
The 22nd Amendment guarantees that no president can be elected to more than two terms. Donald Trump doesn’t believe in our rule of law. In fact, he doesn’t believe the Constitution applies to him.
John, if we want to end this nightmare and pick up the pieces of our great republic, we have to ensure this wannabe-despot’s time in office ends in January 2021.
The election is already underway. Ballots have been mailed in multiple states. There is not a second or vote to spare.
The peaceful transfer of power is a cornerstone of democracy. Throughout our nation’s history beginning with George Washington, presidents have honored the sacred tradition of passing the torch to the winners of our free and fair elections. Instead, Trump constantly violates democratic norms and is now threatening to seize the White House.
