THEN: New York State Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit seeking to dissolve the NRA over this mishandling of funds by senior leadership.

NOW: The NRA’s former second-in-command is out with a new book confirming that the organization cares more about money than the Second Amendment and has long made thwarting gun safety policy a core mission.
