Local beer distributors support fire relief efforts across California

Local beer distributors have a long history of stepping up in times of crisis. As wildfires continue to rage across the West Coast, three California-based distributors – Bueno Beverage Company, Straub Distributing and Markstein Beverage – are helping to deliver relief in their communities. Altogether, these distributors, in a partnership with Anheuser-Busch, have helped deliver more than 300,000 cans of clean, safe drinking water throughout the state of California.

Big Ten will play college football this fall

This morning, the Big Ten Conference announced that teams will return to play football this fall, reversing an earlier decision made by the conference. The season is expected to begin on October 24 with a schedule that will allow for both a conference title game and a potential spot in the College Football Playoff. Colorado sees more cannabis-related crashes in 2019

According to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), in 2019, 49 people died in car crashes caused by impaired driving from marijuana, the highest number in the state since 2016. State officials say more drivers are admitting to driving high: “A lot of [cannabis users] have unfortunately told us that they think it’s perfectly safe,” said CDOT spokesperson Sam Cole.
