Our deadline is tonight -- and we're short of our $25,000 goal.

Now this is a real goal, meant to beat back against the multimillion-dollar war chest that the Republican Governors Association has on hand to unseat me.

They haven't released any fundraising numbers since early 2020, but the news then was grim: a $14.1 million haul, making it the most successful quarter in a presidential election year. That's on top of the $200 million they raised in 2018 and 2019. The RGA would love if you assumed this race was in the bag and deleted this email -- it's how Republicans won in 2016, after all.

We can't take this for granted. The cavalry is not coming -- there is no one here but us to win this race and keep Washington state safe from my Trump-loving opponent who will put politics and profits over people's health and progress. If we want to win, we have 30 days to make our case -- and time is running out.

Washingtonians begin voting exactly one month from today, and we have to make every single day count. We're short of our $25,000 goal by just $5,478. Will you donate $5 or more before tonight's midnight deadline to close the gap?
