We have consistently backed our St John ambulance service in government.

In an announcement in Levin, we have committed to fully fund this ambulance service to the level that they have requested and need.

We pledge to support the 'Gumboot Friday' mental health programme with a $10 million support over three years.

Gumboot Friday provides young New Zealanders suffering from mental health and addition problems access to the help they need.

Last year, funds raised by this initiative supported nearly 4,000 young Kiwis and provided funding for over 13,000 counselling sessions.

It is a proven, robust, fit for purpose online platform that is already being used to provide services.

The platform will reduce pressure on publicly funded counselling services provided by the Ministry of Health and over worked GPs.
