Fellow American,
Come and Take It.
This phrase is a symbol of resistance, a mark of defiance in the face of tyranny, and a representation of freedom.
185 years ago, Texas settlers rallied behind this phrase in rebellion because the terms under which they had come to Texas had been overturned and revoked. Their rights had been usurped and their liberties trampled on.
Now, Texas liberties are once again under threat.
You may be saying, “I am not a Texan. This doesn't apply to me.”
But we think it does.
Economic freedom and individual liberties are disappearing in California and New York. We have seen Florida and even North Carolina become must-win swing states during elections. Virginia has turned increasingly blue over the last few elections.
Texas once served as a reliable pinnacle of freedom and a model of economic success for the United States.
Unfortunately, Texas is now under serious threat. The state has increasingly moved to the left over the past few years. The values, policies, and freedoms that have made Texas the pinnacle of liberty are under attack and slowly eroding.
For your values of individual liberty, limited government, and free-market principles to flourish across the United States, Texas must reliably remain a bastion of freedom and an example to all states.
The bastion of freedom must be upheld in Texas, and we are calling on all Americans to support our movement.
To continue to lead the charge and show that individual freedom and less economic regulation can create a roaring economy and high standards of living, Texas must drive back the left’s increasing influence in the state.
