We really didn’t see this coming, John!

We learned yesterday that The Dominion Post of Morgantown, West Virginia has endorsed Paula’s campaign for Senate, and we could not be more elated.

The editorial board of the conservative-leaning paper had this to say:

Swearengin’s vision for West Virginia and America involves increased broadband, of course, a diversified economy, Medicare for All and a living wage. She envisions a future where West Virginia is still an energy hub for the country but that moves away from coal and natural gas. “These industries have come in our communities, left us bread crumbs, polluted our water, polluted our air, given our children cancer,” she said, “and they have left and pulled the rug out from under hardworking West Virginians.”

Swearengin campaigns on “true representation” in Washington, and we believe she can deliver. Swearengin is the daughter and granddaughter of coal miners. A single mom. A grandmother. She is real. She’s the type of everyday person we want to represent us because she is us. And the U.S. Senate needs more people like Paula Jean Swearengin.

Say you’re with us today and chip in to fuel our people-powered campaign! [[link removed]]

Back in 2014, The Dominion Post endorsed Shelley Moore Capito. She has disappointed everyone with her performance in the Senate; everyone except McConnell, Trump, and her corporate donors.

We know Paula will go to the Senate to represent the PEOPLE of West Virginia and serve hard working Americans across the country.

We’re really excited about the coalition that’s building around Paula’s campaign, and with your support, we CAN win this.

Please join us!
