It’s a new era for the Middle East. Tomorrow, leaders from Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain will shake hands and sign formal peace accords at the White House.
This historic event is a byproduct of our work together to strengthen and expand the U.S.-Israel relationship. Peace is possible when Israel is strong and America’s support of the Jewish state is rock-solid.
Watch and share the video below to celebrate this landmark event.
Through our work together over many years, we are seeing a new model of peace, prosperity and cooperation emerge and the old, unproductive paradigm of boycotts and rejectionism collapse.
Tomorrow's historic White House ceremony will take place at 12 p.m. EDT.
Sincerely,
Brian Shankman
Director of Regional Affairs and Development
60% of new House members in 2018 had never held elective office.
Congress is changing at a record pace, and many new members are elected with little or no experience in public office—or dealing with issues related to foreign policy. This requires constant planning and work to build meaningful relationships with viable candidates for office.
As of this week, we know that at least 49 seats will change this election cycle, in which all 435 House seats and 35 Senate seats are in the balance.
AIPAC meets with viable candidates for Congress and educates them on the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship. We have met with 347 viable candidates for office so far this election cycle.
