John -- When we sat down with The Dominion Post editorial board last week, Shelley Moore Capito said Trump has been a “leader” in his handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Her assessment would be laughable if it weren’t so tragic.

The president she votes with 95% of the time is responsible for letting this virus spiral out of control and reach crisis levels from which it’ll take years to recover. West Virginians and Americans can’t count on such a misguided and willfully dismissive senator to get them through this crisis. Please support my campaign to oust Capito once and for all. We learned this week that Trump knew at the outset how deadly Covid-19 is, and how little he did to slow the spread. The devastation that has unfolded as a result is simply astounding. Capito told the Post that she encouraged her president to listen to the experts, but where’s the evidence that she’s done anything besides nod and go along with every single blunder he’s made since he first heard the word “coronavirus”?
