** Hi, Everyone!
------------------------------------------------------------

Over the past six months, you’ve phone-banked ([link removed][UNIQID]) with us, donated ([link removed][UNIQID]) to our candidates, and been riding along this crazy path of pandemic-era campaigning with us. We can’t thank you enough for your support. We know it’s been a long slog and that we all need a boost to re-energize ourselves for this final stretch through the election.

Join us for a social kick-off event this to kick off our Constitution Weekend of Action and the remaining fifty days til the election.

Bring:
* your own version of a “Constitution Cocktail ([link removed][UNIQID]) ”;
* your best Constitution trivia knowledge;
* A friend who wants to get more involved with election efforts but doesn’t know how; and
* Any questions you have about the inner workings of our Sister District Chapter.

We’ll catch you up on all that we’ve done over the past four years as a chapter, how we’ve transitioned our volunteer work during the pandemic, and the different ways you can get involved with our committees or upcoming activities to do your part for democracy – in the way that works best for you!

We’re laser focused on weekly events and efforts to support Deb Ciamacca ([link removed][UNIQID]) and Jonathan Kassa ([link removed][UNIQID]) flip their seats in PA state legislature. GOTV efforts for state races are shown to complement efforts for the Presidential election by increasing turnout of voters who will vote the entire ballot blue, which doesn’t always work the other way around! So even if you’re stressed about the BIG election this November, your efforts with Sister District are a solid way to make a contribution.

We're continuing our "Meet the Team Series" where we'll share facts about members of our steering committee. Up this week is Katie Crabb (who is often sending you these emails, hi, everyone!)

If you’ve been with us over the years, you probably remember our monthly general meetings at WeWorks or at the WNDC offices – and we miss seeing you all in person! We hope to find more ways to engage with you all and be able to put faces to the various initiatives, emails, and events that our chapter will be running. If you ever have any questions or want to get more involved but don’t know how, email us at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) and we’re happy to chat!

See you Thursday!!

A throwback to our 2017 fundraiser for Elizabeth Guzman!
