I can barely believe it, but Election Day is fewer than two months away. You’ve probably been as inundated with “election countdowns” as I’ve been, but it’s worth repeating:

53 days — that’s all the time we have left to beat Trump, flip the Senate, and elect reproductive freedom champions up and down the ballot.

With that kind of “to-do” list and timeline, I’m more thankful than ever that our NARAL community is 2.5 million members strong — we can play a pivotal role in this election, but whether we do requires your support.

That’s why now is the time to ramp up, John. And I’m thrilled to give you the opportunity to do so through our new NARAL Election Team.

I’ve seen what people can accomplish when they participate in our democracy — a responsibility I’ve dedicated my life to, and one I hope you’ll share. Because we’re facing an all-out assault on our fundamental freedoms. Simply showing up isn’t enough — we must do more. Will you commit to fighting with me through the election? [[link removed]]

The NARAL Organizing team and I are working tirelessly to recruit volunteers, talk to voters, and ramp up our efforts in crucial battleground states. It isn’t easy work, but it’s work that will make a difference. That’s why, in the coming weeks, I’ll be challenging the NARAL Election team (including you!) to take action. Here are just a few things I’ll be asking you to do:

• Attend online events like virtual phonebanks where you’ll make calls for pro‑choice candidates in crucial races
• Join trainings on how to spot anti‑choice disinformation and persuasively talk about the need to protect and expand access to abortion care
• Educate your friends and family about the disastrous realities we’ll face if Trump and his cronies stay in power
• Share articles that promote reproductive freedom and combat disinformation being pushed by anti‑choice extremists
• And, most importantly, help get out the vote!

We are beyond a crossroads. We are teetering on a cliff. If we don’t do everything we can to fight back now, we risk the end of reproductive freedom in this country — and so much more.

We can’t do this without you, John. Please, don’t rely on someone else to do the work. We are 2.5 million members strong, and that strength will sway this election — but only if we work together. Join the NARAL Election Team today. [[link removed]]
