Trump does not care who lives or who dies as long as he gets to remain in power.
Trump attempted to defend himself after the release of Bob Woodward’s book, claiming he downplayed the threat of coronavirus to avoid widespread panic and frenzy. But this is indefensible. Trump knowingly let a dangerous disease spread that has now infected over 6.3 million Americans and killed more than 190,000.
We want a president that serves the American people, not one who lets thousands of people unnecessarily die. Chip in to ensure Trump gets voted out in November.
In allowing coronavirus to run rampant, Trump has disproportionately hurt people of color and low income communities. Persistent racial inequities in housing, wealth, access to health care, income, and employment all contribute to greater susceptibility to the virus.
According to the CDC data on United States infections, Black people are 2.6 times more likely to be infected, 4.7 times more likely to be hospitalized, and 2.1 times more likely to die from Covid-19.
We deserve a healthcare system in which racism and income inequality do not create lethal pre-existing conditions.
