Molson Coors enters non-alcoholic beverage territory

As Molson Coors Beverage Company looks to go "beyond beer," a flavored seltzer water is among four non-alcoholic beverages in the works, as well as a diet soda and milk alternative. CEO Danny Strepper says that these new non-alcoholic beverages "will give consumers an opportunity to taste tomorrow, today." The first of these products are set to launch this month.

Brazilian public prosecutors act in Backer beer contamination incident

Complaints were filed against a brewery in Brazil whose contaminated beer is linked to the deaths of 10 people. The beer from Backer brewery caused people to be poisoned by diethylene glycol. It has received $4 million in funding and will use these resources to grow its distribution and retail network and increase consumer awareness of the brand.
