The current federal surface transportation program - the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act - is set to expire on September 30.  

 

As our country continues to navigate the lasting effects of the pandemic, now more than ever, we need congressional leaders to keep the wheels moving on critical infrastructure projects across the country and ensure that much-needed repair and modernization of our surface transportation system continues.

 

Letting the FAST Act expire at the end of the month is bad for the 2.8 million men and woman of the equipment manufacturing industry, our communities, and our economy.
