In June, I was a candidate in the Georgia Democratic primaries — and I lost.

That’s because our elections aren’t designed for people like me to win them. For working people, for people of color — and working women of color in particular — our election system was designed to keep us out.

That’s why I founded The Progressive List, an intersectional coalition with real political power that can support progressive candidates from the ground up. So, what do you say?
 

In the past few months alone, we’ve seen an incredible wave of progressive wins all over the nation.

From newcomers like Jamaal Bowman and Cori Bush to progressive icons like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar, we’ve won big.

This is tremendous news.

For too long, Republicans and conservative Democrats alike have pushed progressive ideals to the sidelines.

But with wins like these, it’s clear that progressives are a force to be reckoned with.
