Team ― Labor Day offers us the opportunity to reflect on our country’s labor movement and honor our workers who give so much every day. The past several months have highlighted some fundamental truths: we rely on our essential workers now more than ever, and we still have so much more to do to guarantee fair labor rights for every worker.

I’m asking you today to join me in a call to fairly support our essential workers. Sign the petition below to voice your support!

Essential workers have kept this country running in the face of unprecedented challenges. They deserve a supportive government that’s there for them just as they are there for us.

This support should absolutely include provisions to target the unique challenges the pandemic has posed for millions of workers ― but we can’t stop there. We have to fight for the support workers have needed for decades, from stronger minimum wage laws and safe working conditions to healthcare guarantees, Social Security, pensions and more.
