Firefighters put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe. They go in to work not knowing who’s home or business they will be called to help, and in the face of danger, they bravely and selflessly work to keep us safe at any time, day or night.

I know that I feel comfort knowing that these courageous firefighters are ready to act around the clock to keep my family and community safe. That’s why I worked hard to secure federal funding for the fire departments in the City of Laredo, Webb County and San Antonio and other communities so that they have the equipment they need to do their jobs as safely as possible.

It’s vital that fire departments and first responders have the resources they need to maintain safe working conditions and continue to protect our communities. So, I’m committed to continuing to fund more fire departments in Texas -- and set a precedent for communities and municipalities around the nation.

Friend -- each contribution, whether it is $1 or $100, helps me fight for funding programs that support our brave firefighters and first responders as your representative. If you can, pitch in: [[link removed]]

Our firefighters deserve to have access to the best equipment that will protect them and our communities from fires and other emergencies. I will not stop fighting to ensure they have what they need to do their jobs safely.

Your support is crucial.

Thank you for everything you do.

Henry
