John Lewis fought tirelessly to see his legacy realized, and now we are forced to watch as Trump, McConnell, and their allies dismantle his work.

The John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act of 2020 has been collecting dust on McConnell’s desk for over 200 days. The bill would restore the full protections of the original Voting Rights Act of 1965, limiting the power of jurisdictions to enact discriminatory policies.
