It’s been a week since I officially became the Democratic nominee in this race to defend Kansas’ Third District — and since then, the outpouring of support has been tremendous.

All across Kansas, folks are fired up to end the chaos and corruption. To end the National Republican majority and finally elect a Congress that fights for us — not one man in the White House.

We have the momentum. Now, we need to keep it.

Our next big fundraising deadline is coming up in just a few days — and the way I see it, this is our chance to capitalize on our momentum and show National Republicans just how ready we are to defend this district. If you’re with me, will you pitch in before our mid-month fundraising deadline this Saturday?

Now is not the time for us to slow down.

All across the country, families are feeling the squeeze — skyrocketing gas prices, utility bills, and healthcare costs.

And this National Republican majority? It’s not as if they haven’t done anything. They’ve actively made it worse. 

Here’s the good news: If we defend this district and flip just three more seats nationwide, we clear the path for Democrats to take back the House majority, undo the damage of the past two years, and get back to work delivering real progress for working families.

But that only happens if we keep up the momentum. My team and I are hoping 800 new grassroots donors will chip in before Saturday’s deadline to help us scale up campaign efforts — can I count on you to be one of them?
