We need to stand up for what’s right.

Hank Gilbert for Congress

,

The Texas Coalition of Black Democrats is denouncing the atrocities Donald Trump plans to commit on Election Day. And I wholeheartedly agree with them.

Trump is threatening to send an army of law enforcement officers to “monitor” polling locations on November 3rd. This ain’t rocket science, folks -- this is code language for suppressing Black and Hispanic voters on Election Day. And he should be ashamed of himself.

Join me and stand up to Trump's threats against Black and Brown voters. Pitch in $5 or whatever you can to elect a leader who will fight for unity and equality in Texas >>>

To top it all off, our district is being led by a Congressman who wants to turn back the clock to 1960. Louie Gohmert not only defended his white supremacist buddy Steve King last year, but he’s denounced the Black Lives Matter movement, voted to keep Confederate Statues up and vote with Trump every chance he gets.

We need to stay focused. We can’t let Trump, Louie Gohmert, or anybody else intimidate Black and Brown communities on Election Day. I stand with the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats in opposing Trump’s threats -- and voting early for every Democrat on the ballot who will fight against hate.

Don't let them intimidate you. Vote for every last Democrat on the ballot

Let’s keep the fight for equality going and build a stronger Texas for all of us.

Hank

I’m running for Congress because I believe we need a Congressman who will bring a good dose of East Texas values to the halls of Congress. When I’m elected to Congress, I’ll fight for enhanced funding for rural healthcare, massive student loan reform, and economic policies that make sense for East Texas. - Hank
