Diversity and DEI have become buzzwords for all industries. What are ways we as business leaders can ensure our workplaces are well for every stakeholder in our ecosystems, including staff? Join Diana Marie Lee and Samuel González from the Sweet Livity ([link removed]) team for some heart-based practices that promote and restore health and wellness in the workplace.
WEDNESDAY: Workplace Wellness in a World of Diversity ([link removed])
Diana Marie Lee, an elder healing woman whose roots are African American and Cherokee Nation, from Tahlequah and Muskogee, Oklahoma, has worked for past 30 years to strengthen the leadership and systems capacity of organizations (nonprofit and for profit), government agencies and philanthropic institutions to define and achieve their goals. Diana is an intuitive coach who understands how to support leaders to work in diverse cultural contexts so that everyone, regardless of identity and background, can fully engage in the organizational or community work with their whole, authentic self.
Samuel González has spent their life finding ways to reconcile the intersecting identities that reside within. Bringing art, coaching, creative strategies, healing practices, and digital wizardry to Sweet Livity's work, Samuel is helping transform how people do business. Because of Samuel's intersectional nature, they have been able to create transformational spaces in many areas, including higher education, the nonprofit sector, corporate environments, etc. Decades of experience inform the work along with passion and empathy.
