Election security and integrity will be paramount this November as Ohioans and voters all across the country are expected to vote by mail at record levels. Anthony is focused on real solutions, not politicizing the matter. He called on Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to coordinate closely with Ohio's election officials.

"I will be working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to make sure the USPS has what is needed to support the election," Anthony told the Columbus Dispatch.

Gonzalez and other lawmakers urge enforcement of USMCA ag provisions

With 14 million acres of farmland, Ohio is a leading state in agriculture generally and in dairy production specifically; it is vital to the state's economy and the wellbeing of many residents in NE Ohio and beyond. Anthony and a bipartisan group of lawmakers recently urged the administration to enforce dairy-related provisions in the USMCA, the new trade pact between the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Coronavirus update

As Ohio reopens and recovers from the pandemic, the coronavirus will remain for some time, even as life starts to feel normal again. It's important that we each do our part to minimize the risk of a resurgence of the virus. Anthony recommends that everyone stay up-to-date with the latest information from the Ohio Department of Health website.
