Google, and many, many other businesses, working people who become
pregnant face a shameful amount of discrimination.^1,2,3

They’re forced to perform physical tasks to the point of injury.^4

They’re unfairly fired and passed over for promotions and raises.^5

They’re mocked, denigrated, and forced out of their career trajectories.^6

And intersections with racial, ethnic, and economic discrimination can
make pregnancy discrimination worse for women of color and low-wage
workers, allowing employers to take advantage of attitudes that diminish
their need for protections.^7
