Look, I know I don’t typically write these emails — but I saw something in our latest fundraising report, and I think it’s important you see it too:

Ever since our mid-month fundraising deadline, our numbers have taken a pretty extreme dip — a dip so low that we might not hit our July projections. Can you chip in $20 to help us get back on track?

Here’s an insider secret: every campaign staffer dreads this time of year — we call it “the summer slump.”

It’s around the time of the year where folks stop checking their inboxes as often, and start spending a bit more time relaxing outside, away from their emails — and rightfully so.

But when we’re trying to defend a district that National Republicans have targeted again and again? We can’t afford any fundraising slumps.
