Last week, the Democratic Party offered up its vision for America. One by one, Democrats from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, to Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, spoke about radical, liberal policies that are designed to do one thing and one thing only: give the government more control over our lives.
Whether it’s higher taxes, government-run health care, national mask mandates, or anything in between, liberal politicians think they know how to run your life better than you do.
But that’s not how we do things in South Dakota - and it’s not how we should do things as a country. In my state, we’ve proven that when you trust people with the freedom to make their own choices, they will step up and do the right thing.
The truth is, Washington doesn’t know what’s best for you or your family. That’s why governors are so important. This November, several states have governorships up for grabs. We HAVE to make sure they stay in GOP hands.
The Republican Governors Association works day in and day out to elect strong, conservative governors. That work is more important now than ever before; the stakes in this election are just too high.
