Tonight, President Trump delivered a powerful speech as he accepted the Republican nomination to serve for a second term that has left me feeling energized and optimistic heading into November. While our nation has faced unprecedented challenges this year, this week’s Republican convention showcased the hope, resilience and American spirit that will get us through.

President Trump has accomplished so much in just four years. Under his leadership, we have been able to create the best economy in the world, which we will do again, overhaul our outdated tax code, rebuild our military, stand up to terrorists, move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, negotiate better trade deals, enact criminal justice reform, combat the COVID-19 pandemic, and the list goes on.

This week we heard the stories of Americans – mothers, business owners, immigrants who came here legally, and a former prisoner who was given a second chance – and every single one highlighted that despite what Democrats want you to believe, America is still the greatest country in the world.

This election is about the very future of our country. Joe Biden wants more taxes, more government, and to bow to our enemies, both foreign and domestic. Not only has Biden refused to identify the threat posed by China, he has also refused to condemn the lawlessness and rioting plaguing cities across the nation.

In stark contrast, President Trump wants to grow the economy, empower American workers and families, defend our interests abroad, and restore law and order. The choice could not be more clear, with President Trump in the White House for another four years, the best is yet to come.
