America’s beer distributors in action

Following natural disasters and in times of national crisis, America’s beer distributors step up to support their communities. The Council of State Governments (CSG) highlights the role that NBWA member companies have played during the pandemic, including donating trucks, distributing goods and financially supporting community nonprofits and more.

Amazon expands grocery business

Amazon is continuing to expand and innovate the grocery sector with its opening of the first Amazon Fresh grocery store in Los Angeles. The new store format incorporates a blend of in-store and online shopping. It will also offer products at lower price points than it’s Whole Foods stores.

Composing Mozart’s favorite beer

Colorado-based Seedstock Brewery is producing an Austrian brew that hasn’t been made in over 100 years and may never have been brewed in the United States before. It’s an Austrian style called “horner bier” and supposedly, Mozart was a big fan of this brew.
